Children’s Literacy Day at Wolfcreek Library is a vibrant community celebration dedicated to inspiring a love of reading in children and families. Hosted by POCMS and proudly sponsored by Georgia Reads, the event brings together young readers, educators, and community leaders for a day centered on the power of literacy.
Through engaging reading sessions, interactive activities, educational games, and opportunities to explore books, children are encouraged to discover the joy of learning in a welcoming and supportive environment. Special guest speaker Malcolm Mitchell, former wide receiver for the New England Patriots turned literacy advocate, will share his powerful message about the life-changing impact of reading.
This event highlights the belief that literacy is more than learning to read... it is the foundation for confidence, opportunity, and lifelong success. By creating a space where children can learn, imagine, and grow, Children’s Literacy Day helps strengthen the community and empower the next generation of readers.
